World Penguin Day: From Cute to “Intense Predators”

Today is World Penguin Day, and The Pew Charitable Trusts have released some videos to mark the occasion (top and below). They’ve also produced a quiz that asks users to find out their “penguin style.”

What’s your penguin style?

We are penguins with the lifestyle
Of being antarctic gay males –
Occurs in nature once a while,
Odd match with matched white tie and tails.
We want to start a family,
And did try hard to copulate,
    Parts fit anatomically,
But no eggs came from either mate.
    We considered stealing an egg,
But knew the other penguins would
Be fired up like a powderkeg,
And our fate would not be good.

Of all the options we could opt,
    We have decided to adopt.
