Dr. Patricia Martí Puig is a Senior Marine Scientist at the Charles Darwin Foundation (www.darwinfoundaton.org). For almost 10 years, Patricia has been involved in numerous research and conservation projects globally in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Caribbean and Pacific. She is currently leading 2 major research projects at the Galapagos Marine Reserve, which include the Seamounts and the Subtidal Ecological Monitoring projects. Patricia has worked in different fields, mainly in deep-sea, coral reefs and Marine Protected Areas. Patricia is also a board member of the Collaborative Leadership Learning Forum, a program designed to identify outstanding individuals from MPAs who have shown the promise of leadership.
